Intent to Vacate Notice

Moving out? Fill out your Intent to Vacate Notice here, then print it, sign it, and bring it to the office or mail it to us. Your lease requires written notice, delivered in person or by U.S. Mail, at least fifteen (15) calendar days before you move out.

• The 15 days count from the day we receive your signed notice.
• Give us a forwarding address. We return your security deposit, less any amounts owed, within 30 days after you vacate, as long as you give a forwarding address and 15 days' notice.
• Your unit is not considered vacated for rent purposes until your keys are returned and SHA accepts the unit.
• Moving because of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault or stalking, a military deployment of more than 90 days, or a permanent transfer? You may give less than 15 days' notice. Call the office at 903-893-3139.
• No printer? Come to the office and we will print it for you.
