Waiting Lists
Apply for housing or check your place in line
The link above lets you:
- Apply for housing when the waiting list is open,
- Log in and see your current place in line,
- Update your application when your situation changes.
How applications are handled
Applications are handled first come, first served, by the date and time you applied.
When it is your turn, we will contact you by email or phone. If you do not respond, we move on to the next applicant.
Keep your application current
Keep your email address, phone number and mailing address current in your application, so we can reach you when it is your turn.
When we contact you
Do not send documents until we ask for them, because some documents are time-sensitive.
When you are called for intake, bring every item on the Applicant Intake Checklist (on our Forms page). Applicants who arrive without every required item will not be seen.
Waiting list scam alert
There is never a charge to apply for public housing. Do not pay any website or person who says they can put you on a waiting list or move you up. If anyone asks you for money to get on a waiting list, report it to your local HUD office.
